Albion Wish Campaign

My sister Becky put me forward for the Albion Wish campaign, for the work we have done around child bereavement, mental health and suicide prevention following Wills death.  I was honoured to be invited, along with my son Tom, to Brighton & Hove Albions training ground to watch the players train and then meet some of the team, Fabian Hurzeler and Bobby Zamora.  We were  presented with a fantastic amount of merchandise to auction and hospitality tickets to a home game. The video follows our day at the training ground.

The Last Photo

We were honoured to be part of The Last Photo campaign with CALM.  Behind these photos is someone who sadly felt they could no longer be here.  125 people a week take their own lives.  This campaign was held on the South Bank, London and was incredibly powerful.  You can read more about those 50 people who’s photos were displayed in the campaign.

Project 84

We were part of this campaign, Will being one of the 84 statues which represented one of 84 men who take their own lives every week.

Project 84 forced the world to stop, think and, most importantly, act. 84 life-size statues of men on top of the ITV buildings in London highlighted the fact that 84 men die by suicide each week in the UK. We got millions talking about suicide in homes, workplaces and even Parliament. 400,000 people signed our petition for government action on suicide, and it resulted in the government appointing the world’s first ever Minister for Suicide Prevention.
